On Wednesday, 18 October, the third annual Run for the Prize of the Department of Physiology took place in the Hradec Králové city forests. This year, in addition to the classic 5 and 10 km routes, the physiologists prepared a shorter non-competitive variant, namely an orienteering run around the Forest Cemetery. In addition to the traditional "physiological tea", there were also cookies waiting for everyone at the finish line.

After the sports performance, the participants could relax at the evening program in the AC club, where the student band Kantare played for dancing and the fastest competitors were announced. You can see the complete results in our photo gallery below.

Thanks to all the students, staff and friends from friendly workplaces who helped with the organisation of the run and also to the band Kantare and DJ for the great entertainment and atmosphere of the whole evening. Thanks also to Grada, LFHK, ASM, Tomas Soukup and GoMango for the prizes they donated for the winners. Congratulations to all runners for great times and we look forward to next year's start!

2022

On Wednesday, October 19, the second annual Run for the Prize of the Department of Physiology was held in the Hradec Králové city forests, which this time was combined with the second annual Alumni Run. Some participants used their participation in the race to promote the Movember awareness campaign and before the run they painted moustaches on their faces, which are its symbol. Runner Honza Pešava showed a great time, running 10.4 km in 34:18.

Thanks to everyone who helped with the organization of the run, to Mr. Dean for taking the time to start the race, and to the sponsors who donated prizes for the winners - Grada Publishing House, Tomáš Soukup and GoMango, Institute of Physiology, LF HK, ASM and IFMSA. The winners were announced and prizes were awarded in the evening at the AC Club.

2021

A total of 69 runners participated in the first edition of the Run for the Prize of the Department of Physiology, which took place on 13 October 2021, running a total of 448 kilometres on two circuits (5 and 10 km). Thank you for your participation! Thanks also go to our sponsors, thanks to whom all the winners received great prizes. Thank you to the publishers: Academia, Galen, Grada, Maxdorf, and Triton.
