Within the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové there are also various sports activities for its students and employees.
Students of the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové represent our faculty in the University Sports League. Futsal, basketball, floorball and volleyball. The Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Kralove has its own team representation in four sports with the exception of football. The teams are mainly composed of students from both faculties of CU in Hradec Králové, i.e. medical and pharmaceutical. Charles University is one of the schools that have teams registered in all sports and you can follow along with us how the teams will fare in their competitions in the premiere season.

The Rector's Sports Day is held every year in May and the Department of Physical Education of the Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové prepares a varied sports programme for its students and staff, both for experienced athletes and beginners. The programme includes team tournaments in ball sports such as volleyball, floorball or netball, various group exercises, a bike ride or the traditional Run to Chvojno and the Rector's Golf Tournament.
The Run for the Prize of the Department of Physiology has been held since 2021 and is open not only to physiology students, but also to all students, alumni, and faculty members. Runners can choose between a 5 or 10 km route along forest paths, and the race traditionally starts at the Zděná Bouda on the edge of Hradec Králové's urban forest.
In April, the Medical Students' Association is organizing a charity run through Šimek's Orchards for students and staff of both Hradec Králové faculties of medicine and pharmacy. The proceeds from the entry fee are always donated to help with the treatment of selected pediatric patients. The event includes a race between the two faculties for a travelling cup, with the faculty with the most runners winning. The event is also open to the general public.
