The Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové is one of the best educational and research institutions in the field of medicine in the Czech Republic. It educates students in the Master's programmes in General Medicine and Dentistry in both Czech and English and in the Bachelor's programmes in General Nursing and Midwifery in Czech. It is a part of Charles University, the oldest university in Central Europe.
The Educational and Research Centre of Charles University in Hradec Králové is being built near the University Hospital. The joint campus of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Pharmacy, when completed in 2026, will be an exceptional building that will improve the conditions for the development of medical disciplines and thus enable quality education of top professionals, especially doctors.

On Thursday, 19 December 2024, we celebrated the reaching of the highest point of the construction of the new campus. As part of the celebration, the guests, accompanied by builders, viewed the rough construction of the campus, which has already completed all floors.
On Monday, 10 December 2024, the President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel appointed Prof. Jakub Suchánek, M.D., Ph.D., our Vice-Dean for Dentistry Studies and Head of the Department of Dentistry, as a professor.
