Graduation Night

International students regularly hold a grand farewell party at the Petrof Gallery.

Culture Day

Every year, international students of the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové organize Culture Day, a traditional celebration of the cultural diversity of students. This event is organized by the International Student Union at the Faculty of Medicine in HK and aims to introduce the students' home countries and cultures and give an insight into their traditions and national identities. The students, some dressed in traditional clothing, present at their stalls a mixture of unusual national dishes that they and their compatriots prepare together in advance. The stalls are always imaginatively decorated in the national colours, and there is no shortage of flags and items typical of the country. Visitors to the event have the opportunity to taste the dishes, but also learn a lot of interesting cultural and historical information from different parts of the world. At the end of the programme there is usually a cultural insert in the form of dance and music performances.

Mobility Night

The aim of the regular Mobility Night event is to introduce students to the possibilities of international mobility within our faculty. The event is held in the Na Hradě Gallery and the adjacent seminar room and is attended by approximately fifty students each year who come to hear papers and presentations on mobility and its funding, recommendations from the coordinators on the best trips to take, and the experiences and insights of older students who have already gone abroad. A new LF HK Mobility brochure, produced in collaboration between ASM and the GZO of LF HK, was launched at the event, which clearly summarises the departure opportunities within our faculty. Of course, students have the opportunity to ask questions about anything they are interested in during the event, including during the informal part of the evening - at the serving of refreshments and listening to the accompanying musical performance.
