Simulation Center

The Simulation Centre is a workplace of the Faculty of Medicine, where students learn on simulators. It is a modern form of teaching focused on simulation medicine. This allows students to try over and over again to work with a patient along with the supervision of an expert doctor and teacher, allowing them to practice examination and therapeutic medical techniques. Several different subjects from different clinics are taught at our Simulation Centre.

What can students try out at SimCen?

First aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and working with defibrillators

Anaesthesiology - preparation for surgery, anaesthetic management during surgery and post-operative care

Acute conditions in internal medicine, where students learn to stabilise a patient who is in life-threatening condition

Working with infants, newborns, children, indeed all paediatric patients

Airway obstruction by orotracheal intubation, coniotomy and also trechostomy

Use of medical equipment such as ECG, ultrasound, perimeter, etc.
