Our department provides both theoretical and practical part of instruction in the Bachelor's study program of General Nursing and newly from the academic year 2024 - 2025 in the Bachelor's study program of Midwifery. The preparation of the new study program of Midwifery was fully funded by the National Recovery Plan, which focused on the creation of new professionally oriented degree programs. In addition to teaching in the already mentioned Bachelor’s degree programs, we provide instruction in the subjects Basis of Patient Care I, II in the Master's degree programs of General Medicine in the second study year. We innovate teaching methods, expand e-learning study materials, modernize methodological procedures for teaching practical skills. Study materials are continuously renewed, supplemented and updated according to the latest findings in the field of Nursing and Midwifery. As part of lifelong learning, we provide a certified educational course Mentor of Clinical Practice in Nursing and Midwifery. As part of the long-term development strategy of Charles University - Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Kralove and in connection with the Bachelor's study programs, we plan to prepare selected non-medical Master's study programs for accreditation.
